Chapter 04
Fees
Where every basis point goes.
| Fee | Amount | Goes to |
|---|---|---|
| Protocol fee on every swap | 1.00% of the quote side | Protocol |
| Person fee on every swap | 2.00% of the quote side, fixed | PersonEscrow, for the person |
| Pool LP fee | 0 | - |
| Wallet claim delivery fee | 0, network gas applies | - |
| Minimum payout | none | - |
How a swap is charged
On a buy, the hook takes 3% of the quote you send before the swap runs, and the rest buys tokens. On a sell, the hook takes 3% of the quote the pool pays out. In both directions the person's 2% is computed first and the protocol gets the remainder of the 3%.
previewBuyFees(quoteIn) on the hook returns the split for any amount, and the trade box shows it before you sign.
Custody
Fees are held as ERC-6909 claims on the Uniswap PoolManager. The person ledger can only be redeemed by PersonEscrow, which pays the bound wallet on claim, or runs a buyback and burn on sweep after 90 days while the person is still unbound.
In what asset
Claims pay in the coin's quote asset: ETH or the stock token the coin trades against.
