Chapter 08

FAQ

Short answers to the questions people ask first.

Do I need a wallet to receive my fees?

Only when you claim. Connect any wallet you already have, and every coin launched for you pays out to it in one transaction.

Can someone launch a coin for me without asking?

Yes, that is the point: the fees are yours whether or not you ever notice. Nobody else can claim them, and if you never claim, they buy the coin back and burn it after 90 days.

How do I make sure the coin goes to the right person?

The launch form previews the live profile for the handle before you sign, so you launch for exactly the account you see.

Does the launcher earn anything?

The launcher can take the first buy at the opening price inside the launch transaction, which nobody can front-run. The 2% goes to the person and 1% to the protocol.

What is the coin worth at launch?

Every coin opens at a $10,000 fully diluted valuation for 1,000,000,000 tokens, in whatever quote asset it was launched with.

Can the liquidity be pulled?

No. The whole supply sits in a single-sided position, and the hook reverts every attempt to remove liquidity from the pool.

I changed my handle. Do I lose my coin?

No. After binding, the coin follows the platform's stable account id, not the handle. A new owner of your old handle inherits nothing.

I lost the wallet I claimed with.

Verify again from a new wallet. Because it is the same platform account, the escrow allows the rebind.

Where do I see everything for a person?

The person page (/p/platform/handle) lists every coin for them, which one is official, how much they earned in each quote, and whether they claimed.
